you go to a cow pasture and look under cow droppings
False there are fungal and bacterial inhibitors put into both the grain and the grass the cows are fed so unless somehow the cow manure was fully pasteurized. (or you are highly lucky and find an organic cow) although the most common strains of hallucinogenic fungus are grain lovers in the majority of the united states there are also wood lovers. So basically you look at your nearest fallen tree, grain silo or old field.
for what purpose I wonder... hmmm. Hey kids, don't do drugs! :P
The forest in Astoria, Oregon has tons of magic mushrooms to pick. They also have allot of forest rangers hunting the mushroom hunters so be careful.

Not sure but just wanted to comment that Psilocybe Cubensis are a fungi that grow wild. Not a drug sythesized in a lab like the other commenter would like you to believe. There are many benefits to magic mushrooms and tend to grow in the spring and more humid times of the year.
They grow in the wild. Grab a backpack and go hunting ;D
First of all, you should not need to know how many spores are needed to grow "magic mushrooms" but it would be the same as for regular mushrooms. As mushrooms are a fungus, they can grow from only one spore..
No
