Almost 90% of people in Canada live within one hundred miles of the USA/Canada border.

Toronto, Ontario, which is located on the coast of Lake Ontario, is Canada's most populous city with 2.48 million people in the city proper, 5 million if the entire Greater Toronto Area is included.

The area surrounding the west half of Lake Ontario known as "The Golden Horseshoe" which stretches from Toronto on the North Shore to the Niagra Falls area on the south shore contains just over 25% of Canadas population and is one of the 10 largest metropolitan areas in North America.

Most Canadians live within 100 miles of the Canada-US border.

========================================================

The most heavily populated part of Canada is the Greater Toronto Area with 5.5 million people, which is more than that of the three Prairie Provinces combined.

The City of Toronto, with a population in excess of 2.5 million, is the fifth largest city in North America.

Half of Canada's population lives in the Windsor-Québec City corridor, which runs along the north shores of Lakes Erie and Ontario, and along the St Lawrence River.

Overall, however, Canada is one of the least densely populated countries in the world, with only 3.1 persons per square kilometer.

No, they live mostly in Southern Canada. This is because it is much warmer in Southern Canada. Northern Canada has too cold of climates for anyone to live through, all throughout winter, summer, fall, and spring. Always cold. Some of this may be incorrect but I KNOW that most people live in the Southern due to Warmer Climates.
