Most birds migrate in the winter to warm areas. They probably prefer warmer summer temperatures. Some birds stay in the winter months, the ones that prefer the cooler temperatures.
They don't sleep as such. They migrate to somewhere warmer.

typically all insects disappear in the winter and live in warm to hot climate in the summer. its almost like the birds flying south for the winter! lol
Winter. my fave is winter But id have to say summer
Migrating is when the birds fly to a more southern area in the winter, and a more northern area in the summer.
Warm in the summer and rainy/foggy in winter.
No. The order of the seasons goes like this: winter, then spring, then summer, then autumn.
Summer gives you this warm feeling right after winter and spring because the sun is out and the birds are singing. Some people actually suffer from seasonal depression and when winter comes around they become really sad, but when summer comes around, they are bright and cheerful just like the weather.
Resident birds stay in one place all year round. Migratory birds fly to different countries at different seasons, e.g. swallows spend the summer in northern Europe but the winter in Africa, and Whooper swans go to Iceland for the summer and come to Britain in the winter.
Cold.
Monarch Butterflies. They fly south for the winter like birds do.
just like other countries that have 4 seasons, winter is extremely cold season and summer is hot.
when it summer in north america its winter in south america and when its winter in north america its summer in south america.
It depends entirely upon the species but MOST migratory northern hemisphere birds migrate south, and MOST migratory southern hemisphere birds migrate north. But that is a huge over-simplification.
