You can advertise your services locally or regionally and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to spread the word and/or get to know a few individuals within your local law enforcement agencies AND contact some of the other commerical cleaning companies in your area who may not specialize in this area. They could throw some work your way also (maybe as a sub-contractor). After law enforcement has finished processing a crime scene for evidence, they are not responsible for any clean-up, and release the premises to the owner/occupant. It is the obligation of the owner/occupant to engage the services of a cleaning company. Because of HAZMAT waste concerns (biological/chemical/organic/etc.) you will probably find it necessary to be be licensed by a state agency. In order to be licensed you will need to show that you have been trained and are are certified to handle and dispose of these HAZMAT wastes.
