Mexico has several including Parícutin and Nevado de Toluca. Europe has Mt. Etna.
They form when Tectonic plates move closer together causing a mountainous like hill which may or may not contain magma and lava.
I don't know where you are talking about but volcanoes are commonly found around the ring of fire which is an imaginary line that goes around the pacific ocean, other volcanoes are commonly found near where two tectonic plates meet
In actual fact, Volcanoes can be found anywhere in the world, but they are found mostly on the edges of tectonic plates. They are formed by plate activity, and by both constructive and destructive plate boundaries
Jupiter's moon Io has the most volcanos in the Solar System with over 400 active volcanos it is the most geologically active object in the Solar system most of them produce sulfur and sulfur dioxide some plumes reach as high as 150,000 feet, Io has about 100 volcanos that are higher than Mt Everest
