Terra Cotta Clay with Grog 25lb
Terra cotta is a standard in the field of pottery and ceramics. A few basic variations in this formula, such as bentonite for plasticity and a fine mesh time-tested grog, are only two of the inert qualities. These unique qualities are found only in standard clay mines terra cotta.
Recommended bisque firing cone 6: (1841°)
Virtification cone: 2 (275°).

Amaco No. 77 Terra Cotta Earthenware Clay
Terra Cotta is a mixture of finely ground red and buff clays, plus a medium mesh grog. Grog makes fired pottery more porous and reduces cracking, shrinkage, and warpage. Recommended for wheel-thrown pots and hand-built sculpture, tiles, planters, and outdoor pottery.
