The eridian glob gun is pure luck if you find it. It will most likely be in the secret armory.

no, the eridian artifact you get from sledge is just the first part of the vault key. There are three parts all together. you wont get your first eridian weapon until around level 30 when you run into commander steele's army (i cant remember there names). hope this helped.
