fins and critters on eubank and lomas
no. just buy frozen mice or rats, as they provide all vitamins that a snake needs.
not very old, but it is much safer to buy frozen mice let them thaw and give it to your snake because live mice can have diseases that frozen mice can not have because of the temperature they are in
Depending on how small of a snake they usually prefer to eat pinkies (baby rats/mice). You can buy them online or at petco but buy them FROZEN put them in water to dethaw an your baby gopher snake will be happy
Pet snakes eat live mice or frozen mice. A snake's diet consists of mice because other animals cost to much to constantly buy for your snake to eat.
The prey of basically all baby snake are rodents. Snake absolutely love rodents. They can't ever have enough (except when they die of overfeeding). You can buy pinkie mice at pet stores for low prices, if you want to feed your snake that. I wish you a good luck.
ask in your local pet store as most have them frozen if not they should know a place that do. p.s if your pet is a snake it would be good to give them alive mice every once and a while to stimulate them as they would hunt and eat live mice in the wild.
It depends on what type of snake your getting. If you are getting a starter snake the best option is the corn snake that's around 20_50 pounds and you can buy mice for a snake to eat at a pet shop for roughly around 10 for 5 pounds and u only feed a snake once a week
You could try rubbing them on a Dead Rat that you can buy in a pet store that has been frozen, sometime the different smell will encourage them to eat the mouse.
Because some people need to feed there snake's which is very sad :(. But they already bought the Snake so they don't want to buy a rat for 15$.
I usually feed my baby ball python 1 LIVE mouse every 2 weeks.I don't know why people say its not good.if its not good than why do people sell mice that our suppose to be for snakes A baby ball python should be started on rat pups as it's very difficult to switch them to rats, they are very finicky eaters. When they get bigger it's going to take a LOT of mice to feed them. My adult male is 3.5 ft long and could easily take 6 mice in one sitting without even getting a lump in his belly. As it is, he eats 2-3 medium rats every 2-3 weeks. If you want to feed live, that's your choice just watch until your snake begins eating so the mouse or rat does not kill your snake. You will have to deal with scars though. It would be cheaper to buy frozen/thawed since pet stores are trying to discourage buying their rats and mice for snake food by making live mice and rats unreasonably priced. You can buy f/t in bulk and they will last longer. A few months rather than a few days or weeks (when a rat/mouse will become too large for you snake).
it depends on the size of the snake, when they are hatchlings they eat pinkies (newborn mice), juvenile they can eat adult mice, full grown they can eat rats (small, medium, and large).
I don't get your question but if you mean if you buy a mouse and feed it to a snake how long will it live then the answer is a couple minutes because the snake will soon sneak up on it and swallow it whole.
