Most towers don't have the specific slot necessary to directly input your micro SD card into your computer. What you need to find is 1) a card reader (available at almost every electronics dealer) or 2) a USB adapter (also available at almost every electronic retailer). A card reader is a small unit, that depending on the maker will either have a USB port on one end to plug into your tower, or a cord that will connect into your computer. Then simply input your micro SD into one of the slots and you should be good to go. A SD adapter may be necessary for this unit though, so be aware before you purchase. The USB adapter is a small unit (something like 2cm in length) that you put the micro SD card into the end of the unit and merely plug the other end into a USB port on your computer. Regardless of what type of computer you have (MAC or PC) a popup should appear immediately letting you know that an external device is plugged in. From there, simply drag and drop to move around your files.

∙ 15y agoVery few computers have mini sd slots in them. More common is a regular sd card slot, and there are adaptors for your card to fit into a regular sd card slot.
