The Red Panda's habitat is located in the bamboo forests of the Himalayan mountains of China. The Himalayans are in Western China and the Red Panda lives at the elevation of 2,000 to 4,800 meters high! This is a great elevation for panda to live because the weather is very cool and the air is moist for the interesting Red panda. The Himalayans have a mixture of deciduous and coniferous trees, a great place for the Red panda to make a habitat and live. The Red Panda has bamboo to eat and rhododendrons (bushes with flowers on it) to also eat. Then you ask, how does the Red panda make its home and what does it make its home out of, right? The Red Panda makes its shelter and homes out of hollow trees. It also lives in homes like dens in the Chinese
Red pandas live in the cool temperate bamboo forests in Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces in China, in the Himalayas, and in Myanmar
areas of temperate forests in Burma, Nepal, Laos, India, Pakistan, Bhutan, and southern China.
I HOPE THIS HELPED!!!!
Red Pandas are native to southeastern Asia, along a crescent formed by the Himalaya Mountains in Nepal, southern Tibet China, Bhutan, and northeast India, then east into the highlands of Myanmar (Burma), the Gongshan Mountains of Yunnan China, and the Hengduan Mountains of Sichuan China. The latter area is thought to have been a refuge for Red Pandas, as well as many other animals, during the last (Pleistocene) period of glaciation. The gorge of the Brahmaputra River, as it loops around the eastern end of the Himalayas, is considered a natural division between the two subspecies, although some suggest the A. f. fulgens range extends more eastwardly into Yunnan China. Red pandas used to have a broader distribution farther northeast into China and southwest into India.
Good question my guess is china! Thanks!
