Paul says in the book of Philemon that he is an ambassador - representative of Christ.

Phm 1:9 But because I love you, I make a request instead. I do this even though I am Paul, the ambassador of Christ Jesus, and at present also a prisoner for his sake.

He also says he is an ambassador of the gospel

Eph 6:20 For the sake of this gospel I am an ambassador, though now I am in prison. Pray that I may be bold in speaking about the gospel as I should.

Also Jesus told the disciples to go and preach the gospel

Mar 16:15 He said to them, "Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people.

This command was not just for the first disciple but all disciples so if you are a disciple / follower of Christ you should be a preacher of the gospel and so an ambassador of Christ.
