No where it is said in The Bible that we should pray to God through Mary, Instead it is told that JESUS is the only mediator between you and Father God. So you should pray to GOD through JESUS.. He is the only way.
Please read the reference given below. GOD BLESS YOU...
Hebrew 8:6
6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
Hebrew 9:15
15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance---now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
If you want further guidance please mail me at ajayzachariapaul@gmail.com.It doesnt directly say in the bible that jesus is the son of god nor does it say for christians to pray to or worship jesus so i highly doubt it would say for you to worship mary the mother of jesus.
No. the Bible states that Jesus was his mother and nowhere contradicts this..
There are four different Mary's in the Bible. Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary the mother of James and John (two of Jesus' disciples), Mary Magdalene, and Mary the wife of Cleophas.
Jesus did not pick Mary to be his Mother. Jehovah selected the Virgin Mary to give birth to Jesus. The bible refers to Mary as highly favorable one.
No it is not. It is from the Bible, Mary the Mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene. Hince Mary Mary..
Lazarus had a sister called Mary. That Mary was not the mother of Jesus.
Elizabeth (Elisabeth) was not a prophetess. She did belong to a rather noteworthy family. She was a descendant from Aaron, wife of Zachariah the priest, mother of John the Baptist. She was a cousin of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Elizabeth, mentioned in the Book of Luke, is the cousin of Mary, mother of Jesus. She is married to Zacharias and is the mother of John the Baptist. Additional Comments: Elizabeth in The Bible refers to the mother of John the Baptist. Mary, mother of Jesus, went to stay with Elizabeth when Mary learned she was pregnant. John leaped in Elizabeth's womb at the voice of Mary.
Mary's mother was Heli, named in Luke 3:23
Cleophas, mentioned in John 19:25, was married to the sister of Jesus' mother (also named Mary). "Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene."
There is no mention in the Bible that Mary is the Mother of God. Also there is no specific that Jesus also is God. Catholics only believe the divinity of Jesus that is hidden in the words of the Bible. They interpret it in the literal way. Therefore, Mary can be accepted as mother of God because Jesus is God.
The three Marys at the cross were Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the wife of Clopas. They are often mentioned as witnesses to the crucifixion of Jesus in the Christian Bible.
There are many Mary's in the Bible, but the ones your probably referring to are Mary (Lazarus's' sister), Mary Magdalene, and Mary (Jesus' mother). They are all found in the gospels of the Bible. (Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John.)
