You may be going for this one:

"Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding." (Prov.17:28)

(NIV): "Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue."

What did Martin Luther and the Catholic Church not have in common?

.Catholic AnswerThe biggest thing that they did not have in common was humility. Martin Luther thought that he knew better than his solemn vows. He thought he knew better than the 600 years of his Religious Order. He thought he knew better than the Mystical Body of Christ which is the Church which was established by Our Blessed Lord itself and lead by the Holy Spirit. In other words, he thought he knew better than God, so he made up his own church and his own God, along with his own Bible.

Why do you think so many Christians remain silent?

I believe that alot of christians remain silent because they may have never been asked anything. Some are afraid of being wrong, or afraid of what others might have to say or think about them. Alot of people, women have husbands that won't allow them to talk. Why? Because most men blow the text out of of what it really is when the bible text is saying I suffer a woman not to teach or Usurp authority over a man. Then we have the critical christians who think that they are better than everybody else who makes others feel very uncomfortable. There are alot of women who are afraid to say anything due to the fact of not wanting to be embarrassed by what another person in position might have to say.
