The ProForm XP 130 has digitally adjustable pedal resistance, which allows you to change the intensity of your workout by making it easier or harder to move the pedals. A water bottle holder is under the console and a built-in fan helps keep you cool during your workout. The pedal arms move in two directions so you can change up your workout by pedaling backwards. The side of the console has pulse sensors for you to check your heart rate.
Windows XP has absolutely nothing to do with how the hardware is arranged on your computer. Consult your user's manual if you are having difficulty locating a speaker / headphone jack on your computer.
There doesn't seem to be a switch on mine, it just comes on when you start going. I just use batteries b/c it didn't come with an ac adaptor......does yours have an ac adaptor? hope this helps. jordan You can easily download the user manual from the customer service link on the proform website. It is a pdf document, 28 pages. I suggest that you double check the assembly of the unit. Improperly assembled exercise equipment can cause serious injuries. PS, mine didn't come with an AC adapter either. O.

You need to have either Windows XP Profesional or Windows 7 and 8. If you do have that just go to manual and read it.
