Where is a good place to level up a level 40 fire fighting Pokemon and a level 41 dark-ice Pokemon in Pokemon Pearl?

A good place to level up the 40 fire/fighting Pokémon would be Iron Island. Fire is very good against steel and the levels there are good for a level 40. Within an hour or so, you should be in the level 50's or higher. If you get National Dex, then go to Snowpoint temple in Snowpoint city, and that will raise you fast. Since fire is good against ice, of course. When you get into the 60's, then what you should do is buy a lot of revives and hyper potions. Then, head to the elite four and fight them constantly. Have back up. When your level fire/fighting Pokemon dies, just revive it and use the hyper (or super) potions you bought to get its health back. Oh yeah, you should also have some Ether's so you can Restore your moves PP. From 70 on, I have no idea. For the level 41 dark/ice Pokémon, I would go to Iron Island also. There are a lot of rock Pokémon there, too, so you have the advantage against them. Then, when you get into the 50's, you should train at Route 227, which is north-east of the Survival Area (once you beat the Elite Four). There are good rock type Pokemon there, too. (Some of them are fires, so just run from those.) At route 227, there is a lady's house that you can go to, and she will heal your Pokémon just in case your dark/ice dies. From 60's to 70's, you should do the same idea at the Elite Four. From 70 on, you can make up the options.... From level 70 up, there are some good steel-types in Turnback Cave. After every pillar the wild pokemon's levels increase by 10. So before the first pillar 40's, after first pillar 50's and after the second pillar 60's. after the third pillar, though, is Giratina. also a good idea to bring some ether's along because getting out of Turnback Cave can take a while.
