Where is fuel filter on 1988 bronco II?" HOW TO CHANGE IT
---- It is located underneath the car, driver side area.
Check inside the frame, behind steering box. Have fun with this one.
try changing the fuel filter
5 quarts if changing Oil Filter 4 Quarts if NOT changing Oil Filter
I owned a 1986 Bronco II 2.9L. The Bronco II has two fuel filters, first is under driver side seat area on frame underneath vehicle, the second fuel filter is same side of frame closer to gas tank. (Little round black container.) Hope this helps.
2.8L: It is where the fuel line goes into the carb. 2.9L: It is on the driver's side frame rail.
try the air sensor and fuel filter if not pay 80bucks and get the diagnostics done at ford
It is under the hood on the passenger side its the green one the brown is the eec relay
the connections are the splitring fuel connectors not sure what you are looking at... could be the reservoir, the "high" pressure fuel pump, and fuel filter. there is also a low pressure pump inside the tank
it should be on the drivers side frame rail between fuel tank and the engine around the area of the drivers door.
the pressure should be between 35 and 42 psi in the fuel rail. It has a valve like the one for air in the tires to measure the fuel pressure.... MOA.
