The fuse block is located under the dash to the left (facing forward in the driver's seat) of the steering column. There is a small plastic compartment that opens up, on the face of the dash at about knee high level. This compartment can be removed by simply pulling on it. Look under the hood. Behind the battery is a black box with a cover on it. Remove the cover and there you have it. This is where you will find a Red Switch for when you change your oil. Hold the switch on for 10 seconds while the key is in the ignition (car cannot be running). You will also find fu…ses inside the car to the left of the drivers side. Use a rather large flat screwdriver to pry open the plastic cover near your left foot on the left of the drivers side. They suggest a quarter will open it - ya - some engineers dream - no way. Should be a list of the fuses on the inside of the fuse block cover or look in the owners manual. If you have neither of those, best bet is to go to auto parts store and buy a Haynes manual for your vehicle. That will tel you just about everything you need to know about your car.

Its in the trunk on passenger side.Also for the other questions about not being able to shift your car out of park is because Benz put a $5 dollar part made of plastic in the gear shifter.This piece breaks and then the dealer wants to charge you $600-$900 to change it! You don't need this plastic pi…ece it is only for safety so a child can't shift the car while in park and roll down the road. I would take it to somebody who can put it on a lift.
