You may not have an oil dipstick with this model of Benz. My C240 (2001) instead has electronic oil level measuring software that you access through the electrnic dash display. Refer to youe owner's manual for the correct sequence of steering wheel buttons to push (with the ignition on).

I have a 2002 c 240. Turn the engine off, ignition on, use the button on your stearing wheel to navigate to the place where is shows you car milage, then us the arrow button to get to the 'oil dipstick'. There isn't one like in the older cars, it's all automatic. Hope this helps :)
