Many riding mower don't have oil filters. If your's does it is on the side of the engine toward the bottom and probably on the left side as you sit on the mower.

They are normally just hand tight. If you can't budge it you can get a filter wrench at a auto parts store that will fit it.
Unless otherwise specified by the owners manual, SAE 30 is a good weight oil.
On a push mower you take the oil cap off our drain plug out (which ever it has) and tip the mower on its side with the carburetor up. Once the oil is drained, refill it. Riding lawn mowers have an oil drain bolt on the bottom of the engine and you change the oil and filter kind of like a car
