More or less square,black housing to the right of the engine. I believe the 2005 is like the 2004. Take the small vacuum hoses loose after making a diagram of where they go. Take the two cap screws out on the right side of the housing.Housing is hinged on the other end. Remove old element. The new element has an arrow showing which way it installs. Reverse the procedure can do this on my 2004 V6 without taking the air inlet to the throttle body loose. I have always used Toyota air filters as I don't like the looks of the Fram filter sold by Walmart. Maybe you are referring to the cabin air filter.This has already been answered.
