Where is the cam sensor on a Chevy Cavalier?

[Edit]

Answer

On a 2.2L engine, the CMP or Camshaft Position Sensor is located on the back of the engine above and to the drivers side of the oil filter. It is under the intake manifold and requires the removal of one bolt to remove it. It will NOT be easy to get to. Hope this helps...

Answer

You will need to take off front right tire and go through axle area very tight area , will need to remove oil filter to do so. It is very helpfull to have long skinny arms , not short fat ones like mine. It was hard for me to reach but finaly got it.
