The Haynes manual says that it's located on the driver's side kick panel down in front of the driver's side door. However, your car may be early enough to not have one.
Are you looking for the flashers? Try inside the steering wheel housing. To be sure, turn on a turn signal or the 4 way flashers and listen for the clicking. Try to locate it.

Check in the driver's side footwell in the side kick panel. There might be something called The Convenience Center which houses those little guys. If your doesn't have the "center", check inside the steering column housing. You might try turning the flashers or a blinker on and listening to hear where the clicking comes from.
