A Volkswagen 2006 Passat lighter can be found inside the cabin of the vehicle. It is found on the driver side fuse box, and is a yellow fuse in slot number 20.
As you open the driver side door, on the side of the dashboard there is a cover that you can pull off. the fuse box is there.
On my 1999 Passat GLS, the fuse panel is on the left side of the dash, facing the driver's door. Use a screw driver at the bottom of the cover panel to pry it off and expose the fuses. The fuse panel cover has a fuse puller and card that diagrams the fuse locations with their purpose.
behind the cover on the left side of the instrument panel- driver's side- you have to have the driver's door open to remove the cover.
it's fuse #33 (15A)in the fuse panel at the side of the dash (driver side, open door and pull panel cover off).
Open driver's door, on the side of the dash board is a panel that pops off. The fuses are located under that panel
open the driver door and on the end of the dash is a black cover pop it off and all the fuses are behind it.
What feature for the Driver's door, are you looking for? The fuse for the driver's door module is fuse #3 a 15amp fuse, in the under dash fuse panel. Fuse #24 in the same fuse panel is for door locks/relay.
Open the driver door.... its basically where the door hinges meet the body.
on most cars it is on the side of the dash but you have to open the driver side door to access it, you should see a panal that say fuses
Try changing fuse #33 in the fuse box. The fuse box is located on the side of the dashboard on the driver's side. The fuse box cover is a big "B" shaped piece of plastic. On my 2006 passat it was on the drivers side #38 15a. Manual was incorrect. This fuse powers both front and rear plugins.
Try the driver door inside the door jam. There might be another fuse box under the hood on the driver side and there might be another on the driver side in the trunk on the driver side wall.I have a 2006 and that's where mine are.
