flywheel side, center of block.
yes. both engines are the 4g63. the turbo engines from the 1990-1994 is a 6 bolt 4g63 and the turbo engine from the 1995-1999 is a 7 bolt 4g63.
Are you talking about taking a 4g63 out and putting a 420a in? If so, i don't understand, why at all, you'd do that.
It Depends On the Engine that you're working with.On the 420A Engine then the Alternator is located behind the motor on the passenger side of the Engine bay. It can be seen just behind and below the plastic covering for the Timing Belt.On a 4G63(Turbocharged Engine) Engine it is located up Front on the Drivers side of the Engine Bay. Facing the Fender on the Drivers side of the Vehicle look just to the Left of the Strut Tower and Down there you Will See it.There is also the 4G64(Convertibles Only) Engine, But Located in the Same Spot as the 4G63 Engine.
VERY HARD AND VERY EXPENSIVE. I do not recommend. You would spend less money buying a talon or eclipse with the 4g63 engine!

Behind the exaust manifold there is a machined flat plate that will have the numbers engraved on it. Since your asking about the Plymouth laser, due to the limited production years(given it is a DSM, 1990-94) the engine is most likely the 4G63 for non-turbo and 4G63T for turbo.
2.0 L 4G63 engine with I believe a TD05/TD06 turbocharger that is inter-cooled.
Yes, the same harness was used in the non turbo as well as the turbo, Unless you have the 1.8 liter or the 420a engine.
The good old 4G63, or like me a 4g64/w 4g63 head. higher stroke 100mm vs. 88mm i believe.
The engine number, on your Suzuki 1500 motorcycle, is located on the front of the engine block. The engine number is cut into the block.
