behind the gas tank it is not easy to get to if you have big hands. it is above the tank
i own a 87 supra 3.0L v6 turbo.If you open up the rear hatch underneath your carpet where your spare tire is you'll see a oval shaped steel plate held on by 3 phillips screws if you remove the plate you should have access to the pump from there.
