They are in the tank. The black box on the driver side frame just before the front tank is the switch for the 2 tanks. the pumps run about $50 ea. But for an easy fix you can pick up a universal in line pump for the price of just one, and place it in the line before the switch and still pull from both tanks use the switch under the dash. I have the 83 Holiday Rambler on a Ford e350 with 2 tanks and that's what I did. Works with no problems. Hope this helped, and happy camping.

On my 1989 E350 motorhome, I had a weak fuel pump near the fuel filter. I replaced that and the problem went away. The pump in the tank was fine.

I if it's a truck it's a F350, an E350 is a van, motorhome or cube van (Econoline) net weight is about 3000kg, gross is about 5000kg.
