i need a diagram of changing a fuel pump in 1993 Nissan altima
Just Take out the seat by remove 2 screw 12mm and lift it up a little bit and pull forward and take the other piece out by lift it up and take both out of the car because you are gonna need room to work on it. after that move 4 screws 10mm and lift up the pate then disconnent both power lines at this point make sure that the battery is disconnected. then remove two hoses in and out hoses.
then turn that black thing counter clockwise untill it came off I suggest using the rubber hammer then remove the plate and the rubber ring by pry it up then disconnect the both power lines and both rubber hoes at the bottom of the plate. now you should see the fuel pump that was holding by plastic jacket with the little two locks on both side of the pump . Now press both side of the lock and giggle a little slide toward the back of the car and tilt up the filter end then you should be able to remove it ou of the tank . take the pump out of the jacket by removing the little cliff that hold the jacket together. remove the pump and install a new one by reversing this procedure good luck
