How do you replace an ignition control module on a Ford Windstar?

The ignition is now controlled by the PCM (powertrain control module), so the stand-alone ignition module doesn't apply to the WindstarHang-on, I found this little snippet:Only 1995-96 3.0L engines use an external ICM. 1997-98 3.0L and all 3.8L engines have the ICM incorporated into the Power Control Module (PCM).1995-1996 3.0l Ignition Control ModuleFrom the diagram in the Autozone Repair Guide, the module is mounted to the passenger side fender, just behind the engine coolant reservoir.Disconnect the negative battery cable, a plastic cover, couple of screws and a wiring connector. Pretty straight-forward.AnswerIf the question is about the location of ignition coil pack, on Ford Windstar 2001, it is located near the firewall under the cowl. In order to access it freely one has remove the plastic and metal cowl in front of the windshield. If the question is about ICM then from what I know is, it is part of PCM for the late models.
