Arbor day is on April 22 and it is the day when you are supposed to plant a tree. The once treeless plains of Nebraska are now teeming with trees, but the largest continuous forest covers an area of over 20,000 acres.

The government of South Africa has a large man-made forest which may have overtaken the Nebraska man-made forest in size, but I have not seen any actual acreages listed in describing its size.
