There may be a square bolt plug on the underside of the mower. However, most newer models do not have one. Simply warm the engine up for 5 minutes, remove the dipstick, place a catch pan beside the mower and tip the mower on its side and dump the oil out of the dipstick hole into the catch pan. Ensure to tip the mower nearly upside down to completely drain the old oil. Its quite simple, quick and effective.
