It is in the transmission, on the valve body. It is part of the rectangular plate with two solenoids and the wiring pigtail.

it is located inside the transmission. On the outside it has a 8 prong connector. to remove it you must drop the pan, remove the filter and remove the two hex nuts underneath the sensor you can then pull it out through the inside of the transmisson
