usually in the trunk,some are in the passenger right side kick panel. some galants do not even have one.Ex. 1995 galant s does not have one.
it should be in the trunk, you will see a hole in the rear trunk panel where the rest button is located.

Reset button for what? If you are talking about the check engine light, there is no reset button. Unhook the battery for 5 minutes and see if that resets it. If not, then it can be reset with a scanner. Of course it will come right back on if the problem is not corrected.

The best/easiest way is to pull the ground cable to the battery for 1 minute and re-connect.
The vehicle may have to complete a relearn cycle which can take a couple hundred miles.
