Push the scroll lock again. If you are using a mouse, push the scroll wheel a second time and scroll will disappear.

My keyboard on my laptop doesn't have the Scroll or Scroollck key.

In Windows 7:

- Go to All Control Panel Items,

- Ease of Access Center

- and Start On Screen Keyboard.

Now you can click on the Scrollock key to switch it off (and or on)

The Scroll Lock key is not used by most modern-day software so most laptops will not have them as laptops were invented after the scroll lock key was abandoned. The original purpose of the scroll lock key was to stop someone from scrolling ( when you roll the mouse wheel up and down or grab and drag the bar on the side of the screen) at all.
