There probably isn't one. Lower priced guns didn't carry a serial number because the equipment to sequentially number them would add too much to the cost. The Fed finally forced the gun makers to number all firearms in the 50's
The Winchester model 67 was not serial numbered. Are you sure that this is a model 67?I can say that the model 67 was made from 1934-1963.A total of 383,587 were made during this time span.
SNs were not required before 1968.
All model 67's and 67A's have no serial numbers
The Model 67 was not numbered. For what it's worth, I've got a Model 67, too, and I can't find a serial number on it. Sounds like the above ("The Model 67 was not numbered.") is correct.
The gun is 67 years old (1941)
By adding the serial number to your question.
The Winchester model 67 was made by Winchester from 1936-1963.Winchester did not serial number these rifles as the laws of that time did not require it.A total of 383,587 were made during that time span.
Serial numbers were not required before 1968
67-73
Would need a serial to identify the year. But the model 67 didn't have serial numbers, they were made from 1934 to 1963. Winchester Model 67 and 67a were made from 1934 to 1963 having no serial number. To add briefly to above- US law did not require rifles or shotguns to have serial numbers until 1968. Determining the exact age of many firearms is simply not possible.
Your question has used the serial number of your Winchester, not the Model number. Please include a description of your Winchester along with the model number, and the serial number to get a answer about your Winchester.
I would have to have your Winchester model number along with the serial number to answer your question correctly.
