Follow top radiator hose to were it connect to head. Remove 4 bolts and thermostat is there. Maybe 2 of them.
The thermostat will be inside of the thermostat housing. They thermostat housing can be found on the front of the engine.
The thermostat housing is on the drivers side of the engine. It is where the bottom radiator hose connects to the engine.
Look where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. You will find the thermostat housing near that location. The thermostat may be inside the housing where the hose connects.
If you follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, the hose is attached to the thermostst housing. The thermostat is located under the thermostat housing.
Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator towards the engine. The upper radiator hose is connected to the thermostat housing on the engine side. The thermostat is under/inside the thermostat housing. Remove the upper radiator hose from the housing then remove the two bolts holding down the thermostat housing then remove the thermostat housing to expose the thermostat.
Follow the lower radiator hose to the engine, the thermostat is under the housing that the hose hooks to.
next to the thermostat housing.
Follow the top hose from the radiator . It connects to the thermostat housing that is bolted to the front of the engine . The engine cooling thermostat is inside the housing . ( the metal pipe which the top radiator hose connects to is part of the thermostat housing )
At the engine end of the top radiator hose, bolted to the engine, under the coil assembly is the thermostat housing held on with three 8mm bolts. The thermostat is under that housing.
The thermostat on the V8 is under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine. The thermostat on the six cylinder is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
It does not have a rear thermostat. It does have one in the housing were the lower radiator hose hooks to the engine/ water pump. There are 2 bolts in that housing remove them and the thermostat housing will come off. Make sure engine is COLD you will need to drain engine coolant
Follow the top radiator hose to where it meets the housing that goes into the driver's side of the engine, the thermostat is in that housing.
