If its the 5.0 (305) or the 5.7 (350) follow your upper radiator hose to the motor. Its about center of the radiator even as cluttered as these vans are you'll be able to see it. It will end on the T-stat housing, two bolts hold the housing down. I'm not trying to be wise guy but DO NOT do this if the motor is hot! The two bolts will require a 9/16" wrench/socket. They are threaded into an aluminium intake, take your time and make sure you don't cross thread when reinstalling. Good Luck
