2001 Malibu's have a sealed transmission. They don't have a dip stick.
There is no dipstick for the trans.
Depending on what trans type. A manual trans has a fill plug on the side of the trans. And a auto has a dip stick which is located in the engine bay
If you talking about where to add fluid, they are one in the same. Add fluid, the same place you check it. Purchase a special funnel for this purpose.
There will be a fill plug on the side of the trans, fill it until fluid comes out of the hole and seal it back up.
not as far as i know, it has a sealed transmission !
they don't have one, instead its a plug with a valve that specialize mechanic, trans. shop or the dealer can refill or add fluid to the automatic trans.
The fluid is aerating, usually from being overfull.
On the manual trans there is no dipstick. You check level by marks on speedo gear in transaxle which you remove by removing one 8mm bolt on drivers side of trans axle.It uses Mercon V automatic trans fluid.
How do fill the trans fuild on a 2011 hyundai tucson
Normally no, but It is possible, Top the fluid level off, an see if the problem goes away.
There is no dip stick on a 3 speed "tree" trans. Trans fluid is added by removing the screw on top of trans casing underneath the vehichle.
I have a 2000 Malibu and it does not have a tranny dipstick. You have to check fluid under car, there is a check hole on the trans. It's a pain in the butt.
