Power Steering reservoir is small orange cap left front of engine bay.auto dipstick should be obvious near there and manual gearbox has no dipstick

Power steering fluid is beside the windscreen washer resevoir on the front passenger side of the engine bay.
I'm not sure where the reservoir is located on a W8 but the cap is green. Only use VW fluid, it is special mineral oil and if you don't it will ruin the pump.
On my 1995 Passat it is located on the fuse block, under the dash, to the left of the steering column. I doubt they have moved it from this location.
