I believe that is on the passenger side of the A4LD transmission behind a heat shield
On a 1992 Ford Explorer ( A4LD automatic transmission ) I believe the modulator valve is on the passenger side of the transmission , BEHIND a heat shield
In the transmission in front of the modulator
That year model did not have a modulator valve on the transmission.

There is a modulator on some transmissions. If yours has a vacuum line going to the trans, it connects to the modulator and you simply remove the bolt holding it and pull it out.
The 1992 Nissan modulator valve can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The valve will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
theres is not a valve it has tvcontrol cable and ecm controls the rest
No there is not.
The 1992 Ford Explorer uses an A4LD automatic transmission
The automatic transmission has a vent tube. If the transmission is overfilled or gets water in it , the transmission may appear to be leaking tranny fluid after the transmission has warmed up from driving because the tranny fluid expands.
its under the air filter box and below the exhoust manifold
I'm not a mechanic/technician but the 1995 Explorer transmission is a 4R55E (electronically controlled) transmission and the 1992 Explorer is an A4LD transmission so I don't think so .
