Although the different typica, or customs and cultural practices, are different in each church they believe their theological basics are the same and therefore they do not conflict. A Patriarch is not comparable to the Pope as the head of their church as they do not issue infallible decrees and it is believed that all the bishops have an equal say in the declaration of the will of God.
