Not normally. It is possible that a lion will eat a bit of grass to settle its stomach the same way as domestic cats and dogs do, but no evidence of this is forthcoming. Also sometimes Lions eat fruit if they are very hungry, and there is no prey around. When they are low on food they go for grass, but very rarely.

A lion cannot eat grass directly as a food source, however, if it eats an antelope, it takes in the grass that the antelope ate.

Lions may sometimes ingest grass to make themselves vomit if they have an upset stomach.

Do lions eat lepord?

They eat almost anything that moves around them. Lions are Apex predators who hunt as a group. So, they can hunt almost any mammal that lives in the forest with them. They have been known to prey on Gazelles, Buffalos, Zebra, Warthogs and even an occasional Giraffe or elephant calf. Unfortunately Leopards are expert tree climbers while Lions are too big to climb trees. They easily jump into trees and escape from lions.

Will a lion eat a koala bear?

If the two animals occupied the same continent, a lion would probably eat a koala (which is not a bear) when it moved between trees. However, lions do not eat koalas, for the simple reason that koalas are native to Australia alone, and there are no lions in Australia.
