Allegany, Cecil, Garrett, Prince George's, St. Mary's and Worcester Counties as well as the Chesapeake Forest Lands are the locations of Maryland's forests.
Specifically, Maryland lays claim to almost 200,000 acres of forest covered land in terms of four demonstration forests, eight state forests and one tree nursery overseen by the state's Department of Natural Resources' Forest Service. Allegany and Garrett are in the state's far northwest corner. Prince George's is found along the state's southwestern border with Virginia. While St. Mary's is located at the southern tip of the Western Shore. Cecil is at the northernmost tip of the Eastern Shore while Worcester is in the state's extreme southeast corner.

Get the island map from the totem guide at the Museum, then fly the plane east (left) where you will find the Blue Nile Falls, the Mountains of the Moon, and the Kaya Forests.
There are several maps of Maryland available online and many of them are free. I would suggest using MapQuest for driving directions and satellite images.
