The question is how to get rid of email addresses on the auto-fill list. For example, when you type a letter into the "to" list, the iPhone email displays a list of possible e…mails. These seem to be based on email addresses I have used in the past. I now want to give my old iPhone to someone else and I want this list of email prompts to be blank.
I was trying to delete an event that didn't have an "Edit" button in the top right corner. I eventually figured it out, so hopefully this will help! Go to the calendar app, an…d click on "Calendars" in the top left corner. From there you can see what color dot applies to the types of calendars you have (Gmail, iCloud Home/Work, etc). In my case, I was trying to delete a blue dot event, which corresponded with my Gmail account. I went to my gmail account on a computer, and from the Google calendar screen, was able to delete the event. I was on the phone with Apple while doing this, and they weren't able to help me out (especially since I could edit other gmail events from my phone...)
