Go to your doctor or a urologist, who can check if you have low sperm count.
they get in vitro because they can get pregnant naturally or the mans sperm count is too low
It only takes one to do the job. The chances go down, but it can still happen.
Men produce sperm all the time in their testes. If these are not ejaculated, they get reabsorbed after a time so good sperm should always be "ready". A low sperm count means that, as compared to other men of his age, your husband does not seem to be making as many sperm in his testes as these other men. When he ejaculates, the seamen he produces does not contain as many sperm as it should. This could affect his ability to father children. If you and your husband are wanting children you should both go and see a specialist Doctor together and investigate the problem further.
Sperms are always being made so I don't think you have lost anything due to masturbation. if it is a low sperm count, and you have to go to a doctor to find out, it has other reasons. Depending on what those reasons are the doctor will help you if there is a way to increase the sperm count.
It can go pretty low actually. One can survive of a blood count of 6 million.
TESTICLES maintain a constant temperature for the semen they store, maintaining a constant temp for the sperm. The testes are like an automatic thermostat. When the temp is too high (lowering sperm count), the testicles drop down to cool off. When the temp is too low (lowering sperm count) the testicles go up into the body to get warm. THEREFORE, when you wear briefs, the testicles stay up, in a warmer position. Briefs don't allow the "automatic thermostat" to work efficiently. THIS is why if you are trying to have children, and have a slight low sperm count, the doctor will tell you to wear boxers to allow the testes to do there job by raising and lowering, depending on temp, to give you the highest sperm count possible. So in answer to your question: YES. If you're thinking this may be a form of contraception - you're very wrong.
Your doctor can do this for you (or refer you to a specialist). Fertility clinics will also do this.
It depends on two factors.those factors are why do you want to be and sperm donor? are you doing it for money or are you doing it for the good of helping infertile couples? if you want to donate to a sperm bank you would have to undergo certain test and provide sperm samples when needed.in other words you would have to make a commentment to the sperm bank.if you just want to donate for free,my advice would be for you to go to your doctor and get tested for STD's and HIV.also a sperm test would need to be done to inform the recipents that you have an acceptable sperm count.
It means that you don't have sperm in your semen.
Although there is not much you can do to increase sperm count it is important to avoid those things that can cause a drop in sperm count. These include drinking alcohol and masturbation. Both of these can cause major drops in sperm count. (I'm a doctor)
Go to a clinic and have his sperm count taken? or just get it on everyday....see what happens...
go to a fertility doctor or have a 'sperm count' test done.
