Parsley is a small, fine, green leafy herb that is regularly available in the produce section of grocery stores and supermarkets. It's frequently displayed next to a similar looking herb, cilantro (leaf coriander). Parsley is also marketed in a dried form in plastic containers that range in size from a few grams to a few ounces. It is found in this form in the dried spice section of the store. Some stores make it available in bulk, by the pound. Parsley seed is available at nurseries, in the garden center of superstores, and hardware stores. Parsley can be grown in outdoor herb gardens, or in planters indoors. When grown indoors, care should be taken to ensure it receives adequate water and daily access to sunlight or grow light.
