You would not be able to obtain the fissile material necessary to build a working model of a nuclear power plant. You could build a model, for sure, but it would not be a working model.
as it still has energy in it.
Seems unlikely. Any power plant is useful only if it can deliver power to where it is required. Also you need a good source of water for cooling. The one clear advantage, however, is that it would be far from populated areas, and hence far less dangerous to people.
the village probably cannot afford a desalination plant
It is estimated a new nuclear plant built today in the US would cost $10-12 billion for a 1500-1600 MW plant. Then once you have the plant built, one load of fuel bundles would cost approx. $150 to $200 million.
I would want them to build it somewhere else, but the same would apply to any type of power plant or industrial plant

Solar power plant

The best type of power plant to generate the most clean energy at a low cost would probably be wind and power energy. However, the issue of space would eventually come into play as it is not the most practical.
None. Building a nuclear power station is a job for engineers.

You would have to build a dam, which could mess with the flow of the river.
Governments want scientists to work on a nuclear power plant to lessen the dependence of fossil fuels. The product of nuclear power plants are atomic energy, a clean energy alternative.
as it still has energy in it.
The mitochondria ( Singular: Mitochondrion) is often called a cells power plant. This is because it makes the cells energy.
A geothermal power plant does not use coal to generate energy. Coal would be superfluous.
