When you beat Archer The director gives you a special item (Rainbow wing/Silver wing) that is connected to a legendary pokemon. Then you go to Blackthorn City. Defeat Clair and then go to the Dragon's Den and return to New Bark city and got to bell tower or The whirl islands. Then you finally beat the Elite 4. I Hope i answered your questions, all of them!

go to blackthorn city and find lance then deafeat team rocket in blackthorn then turn the radio on team rocket will be broad casting stuff about them.then the go to goldenroad then go to the under ground place and look for a team rocket member he will give you a team rocket outfit then go to the radio tower a team rocket member will let you in because your dressed as a team rocket member. then climb all over the radio tower you will soon be at the top and find your self fighting archer after that you have done deafeating team rocket (in johto not kanto). if this doesn't work don't blame me i did it a month (or more) ago!

So you go to the underground path in Goldenrod and go to the place that you can get your picture taken in a team rocket suit. A team rocket grunt will give you one. Go back to the radio station and battle the team rocket grunt at the stairs. Then go up to the manager's room you battle a team rocket leader there. Then rescue the manager at the bottom of the underground path. Go back and enter into the locked door in the radio station/tower and go until you find a room with one person looking out of a window. He is the final team rocket leader to beat and after you beat him he says that he will disband team rocket. Then you can go past the man who gave you the ragecandybar.
