Many contributors to this site have said that LG televisions are cheap.
Visio is known as a budget brand and although not of the same build quality of big names such as Sony, Samsung and Panasonic offer good value for money.
0178 this did not work for me. 0134 LG code worked for me.
Vizio models are cheap and perhaps not the best 3D quality available. However, they are good value for money and if you like the pictures they produce, they are worth buying.
In terms of spatial resolution, Samsung have better quality than LG because LG use passive technology, meaning that alternate lines are split to each eye. Samsung, Sony and Panasonic all feature 1080 line resolution compared with LGs 540 line resolution. Does that mean Samsung is better to watch? That can only be decided by you. Make sure you get to see a range of 3D televisions before making your decision.
3D and LED cannot be compared. 3D televisions can use LCD or LED technology. LED may be either 2D or 3D.
This is an argument that continues to battle on and on. Basically, Samsung is active shutter technology and each eye receives a 1080p image at a time. Meanwhile, LG developed a passive technology 3D TV where both eyes receive 540p image at the same time. Samsung does have impeccable quality, though, so make sure to research it all the way. Good luck!
No, there's actually Vizio 3D TV called Vizio Theater 3D. They use the same technology as LG.
No. Cinema 3D is brand name of LG. Vizio uses the same technology, originally use in theaters but use a different name.
2 manufacturers, LG and Vizio, are using passive 3d technology. All others are currently selling active 3D systems.
The cheap brands such as LG and Vizio will work in the cinema but when you are given glasses every time you visit the theater, why would you want to?
No, Toshiba have a few passive models and Vizio also make passive 3D TVs. However, the majority of the premium manufacturers have adopted active 3D television as it retains full HD resolution in 3D mode rather than the 540 lines offered by LG.
Yes, as long as you have a 3D Vizio TV and a 3D blu-ray player.
You should consider first whether you want passive 3D or active 3D. But which technology is a better choice for the consumer depends on preferences and intended use for 3D in the home. LG, Vizio, and Toshiba currently have active 3Ds.
Active 3D televisions are made by the premium manufacturers and therefore will tend to be more than the passive models made by LG and Vizio. They are also higher performance with full HD resolution even in 3D mode compared to the 540 line resolution offered with the LG range. As with many products, better performance normally means a higher price.
Vizio models are low cost and lack the features of some of their more expensive counterparts. They are passive types so their resolution in 3D mode is only 540 lines but in 2D, the full HD resolution is restored. This is a feature of passive types and LG televisions share the same limitation of 540 line 3D. Vizio is seen as good value for money if you are buying a television on a tight budget.
There are many televisions better than LG 3D televisions. LG 3D results in an effective resolution of 540 lines, half that of most other 3D televisions. That's actually a lower line count than the standard definition of 576 lines. LG are worth looking at because they do claim to sell cheap 3D televisions compared to other brands. If you want to save money, they may be worthwhile.
Vizio has an array of 3D TV's available and can be purchased at most big box and electronics stores.
i brought some active 3d glasses for my lg 42pw450t 3d TV but they don't work
