TATA GROUP COMPANIES are most ethical companies of India.
most unethical are satyam, reliance and icici bank.
Its only the Reliance groups ( BOTH THE BROTHERS) is most unethical and dishonest company in India. And upto some extent the Vajpayee BJP govt has helped their so called qualities. They will fall very recently. The TATAs are angels and Ratan Tata is the God.
There are lot of small medium enterprises too who get into unethical culture of doing business apart from the major once. I know a company called as DG Infrstructures based in Navi Mumbai who have the worst employee culture and their way of doing business too happens to be unethical....
The point is there are many SME's with those issues..but the question how the government gonna keep a check on that to improve them..

Unethical behavior in the workplace can mean a series of things; from ordering office supplies on the company's account for your own personal use, to right out stealing office supplies from work, or calling in sick when you're not, to making personal calls during company time and on the company phone line, to checking you Facebook news feed on the company computer, to just about anything that is deem unappropriate in the work place - if it's not something that you want your boss to know about, then it's probably "unethical" to do.

Environmental considerations included professionalism, codes of corporate conduct, and corporate pressures.
Since the fall of the Enron corporation (known for blatant ethical violations of running the Fortune 500 company into the ground), we have heard a lot about ethical conduct. Ethics are now being discussed more in college and even grammer school of doing the right thing and acting accordingly. More people today take ethics as a personal affair because of past presidences and the results of what happens if you do act unethical. If you do act unethical, it is more of the judge character. Reviewing the corporate structure today, I think more people look upon it as a personal affair and it does not enter public debate until something unethical happens. =)
