Yes,Pride and Prejudice got the best review from over 50 other 4 star movies all shown in theater, Pride and Prejudice got 5 stars in Hollywood in my eyes although some people may come to judge it at first glance, it really takes hard character to prove that it is one of a kind.
Ohhh that's a hard one well i would definitely have to say the pride and prejudice with Collin firth in it and Jennifer ehle and second best would be the one with Kiera Knightly and Matthew MacFadyen so i suggest both. (:
Personally i think the 1995 one is. However, the people in the 2005 one do suit their ages.
Since the 1995 Pride and Prejudice was a TV miniseries, it was not given are rating as a move, but my guess is that it would be rated PG, as the Jane Austen movies have been. It has no bad language, sexual conduct, or violence whatever. As to critical ratings, it is rated 100% by the critics at Rotten Tomatoes. The 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie was rated 85%.
It depends on which version you mean. Keira Knightley played her in the 2006 version. It's kind of Pride and Prejudice Lite but may be a good introduction. Jennifer Ehle played her in the 1995 BBC production available through the A & E Network in the US. Colin Firth played Darcy. That is the favourite version of many people. Greer Garson played opposite Laurence Olivier in an older Black and White version. There are lots of other versions also, even a Bollywood version called Bride and Prejudice. Bridget Jones' Diary with Renee Zoellweger is actually an updated take on Pride and Prejudice also. (Check the name of the character played by... Colin Firth!
Pride and Prejudice has about 123,880 words. The page length will vary from book to book, but the Barnes and Noble classics version has 375 pages, not including the endnotes and comments at the end.
